Buying crystal spheres for a shop
A sphere is the most finished shape a stone can take. It shows the colour and pattern from every side, it sits on a small stand anywhere, and it is one of the few crystal pieces customers buy purely to display. That makes spheres a reliable mid- to high-ticket line for most shops.

How spheres are made
A block of rough stone is trimmed into a cube or a many-sided shape, then ground round between rotating cups with finer and finer abrasives, and finally polished. Hard stones such as quartz and jasper take a glassy polish; softer ones such as calcite and fluorite need gentler handling afterwards.
Choosing stock
- Start with the colours people ask for: rose quartz, clear quartz, amethyst and fluorite.
- Add one or two patterned stones (agate, jasper, labradorite) for variety.
- Keep a few larger one-of-a-kind spheres as the centre of the display. Every numbered sphere is photographed on its own, so you get the piece you see.
Display
Use a stand under every sphere so nothing rolls, light them from above, and line them up by size so the price steps are easy to read.
Crystal Spheres FAQ
Do spheres come with stands?
Most spheres are sold without a stand. We sell acrylic sphere stands and other display stands separately; see the Stands & display shortcut above.
Why are numbered spheres priced individually?
Each numbered sphere is a one-of-a-kind piece with its own size, weight and pattern, photographed on its own. Smaller unnumbered spheres are sold by size from a lot of similar pieces.
Which sphere stones are the most delicate?
Fluorite and calcite are soft (4 and 3 on the Mohs scale). Keep them away from harder stones and use padded stands. Quartz, agate and jasper are much tougher.
Can I buy spheres without a minimum order?
Yes. There is no minimum order. Approved wholesale customers see their wholesale price on every product once signed in.
