Amethyst Skull Unique #04

This is a realistic amethyst-made skull carving, it’s a special artefact. The darkest shades are around the Parietal, Mandible, Occipital and Facial areas, with lighter tones around the temporal bone on the front and on the right side of the temporal bone. The carving on the Nasal Bone is relatively small but smooth to the touch and cleanly trimmed. The Jaw was cut through inside the Ramus. The zygomatic bone was carved in detail along with the outside around the teeth. Overall this is comfortable to hold and smooth to the touch.

Amethyst is a crystalline quartz type that is violet to pale purple. The colour is due to irradiated trace amounts of iron.
