The Studio Crystal
Add-On Menu
Your students already ask which stone to hold. This is the shortest possible path from that question to a shelf that answers it — what to stock, what to say, and what it costs. Five pages, no upsell.
The 12-stone studio shelf
Listed prices are Stonebridge retail tags; your wholesale price is lower and shows when you log in. Pack sizes are how the item is sold.
| Stone | Format | Why it works in a studio | Start here |
|---|---|---|---|
| Amethyst | Tumbled bag · worry stone 5-pack | The stone most students can already name. Rest and wind-down themes. | ✓ |
| Rose quartz | Tumbled bag · bracelet | Heart-opening classes, self-compassion themes, and the easiest gift. | ✓ |
| Clear quartz | Tumbled bag · point | The neutral one. When a student has no idea what they want, this is the answer. | ✓ |
| Black tourmaline | Tumbled bag · worry stone | Grounding and boundary themes. Sells to the students who say they “take things on”. | ✓ |
| Selenite | Stick 10-pack · charging plate | Under $1.50 a stick. The cheapest way to test whether your room is interested. | ✓ |
| Chakra set | Worry stone 5-pack · bracelet | A seven-week chakra series gets a take-home for every week. | ✓ |
| Red jasper | Tumbled · palm stone | Root and grounding weeks; holds well in the hand during long holds. | |
| Green aventurine | Tumbled · bracelet | Heart week alternative, and a colour that sells itself in spring. | |
| Sodalite | Tumbled · bracelet | Throat-chakra week; the blue reads as calm on a shelf. | |
| Labradorite | Palm stone · tumbled | The flash makes people pick it up. Your highest-conversion “hold this”. | |
| Hematite | Tumbled · bracelet | Heavy for its size, which is the whole appeal. Good grounding add-on. | |
| Moonstone | Tumbled · bracelet | Cycles, rest and yin themes. Reliable seller at gift price points. |
What a first order looks like
Six stones, three formats, one bowl: one bag each of amethyst, rose quartz and clear quartz; one worry-stone 5-pack; a dozen bracelets across three stones; one selenite 10-pack. At listed prices that lands near $300, which is where shipping is free and the 365-day exchange applies.
Which stone belongs to which class
Pick the stone that matches what you are already teaching that week and put it at the desk. You are not adding a retail programme; you are finishing the sentence the class started.
| Class | The theme you are already teaching | Stones that fit |
|---|---|---|
| Yin | Staying, softening, tolerating stillness | Amethyst, labradorite, moonstone |
| Restorative | Rest, nervous-system downshift | Amethyst, selenite, rose quartz |
| Vinyasa / power | Heat, effort, momentum | Carnelian, red jasper, tiger's eye |
| Grounding / earth | Weight, roots, boundaries | Black tourmaline, hematite, smoky quartz |
| Heart-opening | Self-compassion, grief, opening | Rose quartz, green aventurine, rhodonite |
| Meditation / breathwork | Focus, quiet, one point of attention | Clear quartz, amethyst, sodalite |
| Chakra series | One centre per week | The seven-stone chakra set, in order |
| New year / intention | Setting something down, picking something up | Clear quartz, citrine, labradorite |
The seven chakra stones, in order
Traditions differ — say so when a student asks, it builds more trust than certainty does.
| Centre | Common stone | Alternate |
|---|---|---|
| Root | Red jasper | Black tourmaline, hematite |
| Sacral | Carnelian | Orange calcite |
| Solar plexus | Citrine | Tiger's eye |
| Heart | Green aventurine | Rose quartz |
| Throat | Sodalite | Blue lace agate |
| Third eye | Amethyst | Lapis lazuli |
| Crown | Clear quartz | Amethyst, selenite |
Where it goes
Crystals sell by being picked up. That single fact decides the whole layout: reachable, lit, priced, and never behind glass at the start.
Three price bands, and why a shelf needs all three
| Band | Retail | What lives there | Its job |
|---|---|---|---|
| Impulse | $5–$14 | Tumbled stones, selenite sticks | Gets the first purchase over with. Funds the shelf. |
| Gift | $18–$40 | Bracelets, boxed sets, palm stones | The reason the shelf pays. Wraps itself. |
| Statement | $60+ | Clusters, spheres, towers | Anchors the display and makes everything else look reasonable. |

Most small retailers work between 2× and 3× landed cost, and land at about 2.5×. Round to prices that feel natural at a desk: $8, $12, $25.
Four things to say that are not a sales pitch
The fear that stops most teachers is sounding commercial in a space people come to for the opposite. None of these lines sell anything. They answer a question that was already asked.
1 · At the end of class
“The stone we used tonight is at the front desk if you want to take one home.”
Said once, at normal volume, while you are rolling your own mat. No pause for effect.
2 · When someone asks what it is
“That one's amethyst. People usually keep it for rest — there's a card with it that explains more.”
The card does the explaining, so you never have to be the expert.
3 · When they ask which one they need
“Honestly, pick the one you keep looking at. That's how most people choose.”
True, unpretentious, and it removes the pressure to have the right answer.
4 · For a workshop or series
“Your stone for the series is included — we'll use it each week and it's yours at the end.”
Built into the ticket. Nobody is sold anything and the perceived value goes up.
What not to do
- Do not announce the shelf mid-practice. Savasana is not a retail moment and everyone can feel it.
- Do not make health claims, even casually, even if a student offers one first. “Traditionally associated with” is the whole trick.
- Do not hide the prices. Unpriced stones do not feel exclusive, they feel awkward, and people put them down.
- Do not start with forty stones. Six with a sign outsells forty in a heap, every time.
The retreat and training kit
The format that survives a suitcase and outlives the weekend: a pouch, three stones, one card. Build it into the ticket price so nobody is selling anything on a retreat.
| In the kit | Why | Your cost |
|---|---|---|
| 3 tumbled stones | One for grounding, one for the heart, one for clarity — or match your retreat's theme | |
| 1 velvet pouch | Turns three loose stones into a gift, and keeps them from rattling in a bag | |
| 1 meaning card | Does the explaining for you, and gets read again at home | |
| Optional: selenite stick | Light, cheap, and the thing people ask about most afterwards | |
| Total per guest | Add it to the ticket, not the table |
The 90-day check
Three months in, answer these four questions and the shelf tells you what to do next.
- Which two items sold the most? → reorder both, double the quantity on the winner.
- What did nobody touch? → exchange it (365 days on $300+ orders) rather than discounting it.
- What did people ask for that you did not have? → that is your next order.
- What did the shelf make? → compare it to one drop-in class. That is the honest benchmark.
