Heulandite is a member of the Zeolite group of minerals; a hydrated Aluminum Calcium Sodium Silicate that occurs in basalt cavities. It is a high vibration crystal that, when used in meditation, may open your eyes to your past life and experiences (and even to past civilizations).

Heulandite was first found in 1818 by German mineralogist August Breithaupt. He spotted the specimen on top of a piece of stilbite and called it Euzeolite (meaning beautiful Zeolite).

But the official discovery was only declared in 1822 when English crystallographer Henry James Brooke discovered the mineral and named it Heulandite in honor of the famous English mineralogist John Henry Heuland.

Most Heulandite specimens on the market are extracted from Iceland and India. The red varieties come from Scotland and Northern Italy.

Besides stilbite, Heulandite is also associated with other minerals in the Zeolite family like Epistilbite and Brewsterite. These minerals share the same physical properties and molecular structures with Heulandite.
